About Us

 Welcome! We're the Richardsons: two parents and six active kids ages 2-12.  We are completely outnumbered, and it's only through clinging to each other and God that we make it through each day!  

I'm a former classroom teacher turned stay at home teacher.  I currently teach English through VIPkid and tutor reading through Savvy Reading.

Here on our blog you'll find book recommendations, ideas for family traditions and systems, teaching ideas, and a little bit of daily life.  We hope to share a little light, a little smile, a little idea with you. Thanks for stopping by!

Five Audiobooks for the Whole Family

 When you have multiple kids and multiple ages you end up with many opinions and interest levels. Finding an audiobook that will please everyone is a challenge! My kids range in age from 2-12. Here are five of our favorite audiobooks that we all enjoyed. 1. The Penderwicks by Jeanne Birdsall. You can't help but love the Penderwick children. They each have a strong personality and yet support and love each other very much. This series has five books that follow the children on adventures as they grow up. 2.
